VISTAMILK: Milk by Design
Vistamilk is a world leading SFI Research Centre for innovative precision pasture-based dairying that is leading the agri-food technology sector through innovation and enhanced sustainability across the dairy supply chain.
Through unique collaborations between researchers and indigenous and international businesses from the agri-food, food and ICT sectors, Vistamilk has had a positive impact on the environment, animal well-being and the health of consumers in Ireland.
Internationally, the advances developed by Vistamilk will apply to dairy systems in many countries and will be a catalyst for global growth in the agri-tech sector by greatly improving the soil-to-gut supply chain connectivity, thereby improving resource efficiency, better meeting consumers’ expectations and improving profitability and resilience.
Vistamilk brings researchers together from across the country, led by Teagasc and including Dublin City University, NUI Galway, (TSSG)/Waterford Institute of Technology, Tyndall National Institute, and University College Dublin through co-funding from the Southern & Eastern Regional Programme 2014-20.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
